A variety whose cultivation in France is very widespread. Excellent results are produced in the Somontano region. This type of grape adapts easily to different types of soil. The bunch is of a loose nature and the grape is quite small.
Traditionally this grape is associated with Carbernet Sauvignon, it lends fruity aromatics and smoothness, which make it a perfect compliment to tannic qualities of the Carbernet.
